Emma Poloney

The classrooms in the 1920's were wooden and teachers used chalk boards. Student had to share their seat with a partner and the desks had slots to put their books in. Our daily classrooms have desks made out of rock and plastic chairs ( not that the chairs are more comfortable) that are attached to the front part of the desk and teachers use white boards. There are trays underneath the desks to put your books.
