Transportation 

 

During the 1920's the number of registered cars was over 15 million, this was due to the efforts of Henry Ford. The number of registered vehicles in 2013 was 247 million.



Food
                                      

A&W Root Beer was the first fast-food chain, they began selling burgers and soft drinks in the 1920's. Now you can find multiple fast-food chains almost everywhere in the U.S.



Music
                                    
The 1920's was known as the "Jazz Age" due to the popularity in jazz. Now people listen to different varieties and genres of music like pop, hip-hop, and country.



Clothing
                   
Women in the 1920's wore shorter dresses that were knee-length or higher by 1927. Clothing styles have changed and clothing such as skinny jeans have reached popularity.



Electricity 

                                                         
In the 1920's, the company General Electric offered products such as toasters, vacuum cleaners, coffee pots, irons, and ovens. Today we still use these products but many more have been introduced like cellphones and tablets.
