Amber Gambrel

In the 1920's, there music consisted of Jazz, Ragtime, and musicals, including broadways. Music was open to both men and women, and during the Harlem Renaissance, many different styles of art and music was created.
The music from today still consists of Jazz etc., but it also has many more genres of music, like Christian music, country, rock, pop music, and many more.

Clothing in the 1920's is quite different from today's standards of clothing. The women would usually wear skirts, until the later '20's,  also, the Flappers considered themselves rebels and dressed differently from other women.
Today, we usually wear crazy, wild things, like bright colors, and different designs, but many girls are wearing vintage clothing, so we're bring back the '60s -'90s.

Today's language consists of "texting" and abbreviations, we use this type of "talk" because it is quicker and easier to write or say. This is most teenagers slang.

In the 1920's, there slang was "Your the cat's meow!" etc, they would say phrases that today not many people say, other than some one's grandparents or if you like that time era.

Art in the 1920's was very colorful and vibrant. Most artist depict life and nature.

Today's art is filled with anything your mind can think of, artist paint and draw nature, people, cartoons, etc.

The 1920's were starting to advance in technology, but compared to all of the technology today, those are only stepping stones to what we have now and what soon will be. Phones weren't wireless, and not everybody had one, but  most did.

Today's technology is advanced compared to the '20s, we have wireless phones, computers, and so much more! We also have more energy efficient devices compared to the '20s as well.
